HER MOUNTAIN MAJESTY
Described as “mountain rock” by their fans, Her Mountain Majesty (HMM) is a beacon of hope building an energetic forcefield of joy and togetherness in the vibrant music scene of Seattle, WA. Fearlessly led by woman powerhouse Andi Lee Scher, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born and bred outside of Baltimore, Maryland, HMM weaves together a sonic landscape of southern rock, blues, folk, country, and soul with boot-stomping rhythms, rich female harmonies, and face-melting guitar solos. The name is in reverence to the land upon which we all share and owe deep gratitude and serves as an homage to the countless women creators often forgotten in history – including Katherine Lee Bates, the writer and social reformer who introduced the nation to the “purple mountains majesty.”
